01The service

Filnixa is a free tool that checks image files against upload requirements you enter (such as maximum size, required format and maximum dimensions) and can resize, convert or compress the image to fit. Everything runs in your browser: your files are not uploaded to us for processing.

By using Filnixa you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

02Your files and your responsibility

You keep all rights in your files. Because your files stay on your device, we never take possession of them and cannot review, moderate or restore them.

You are responsible for the files you process and for having the right to use them. Do not use Filnixa with files you have no right to use or share.

03Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Break the law, or help anyone else break it, using Filnixa.
• Attack, probe or overload the site or its infrastructure, or try to access systems you are not allowed to use.
• Scrape or copy the site in a way that harms it or other users.
• Misrepresent Filnixa or pass the tool off as your own.

04No guarantee of acceptance

Filnixa checks your file against the requirements you type in and tells you honestly whether the output meets them. Websites change their rules, and some rules cannot be detected automatically. We do not guarantee that a file Filnixa produces will be accepted by any particular website or form.

Where a requirement cannot be met, Filnixa says so and offers the closest result it could make, rather than pretending the file fits.

05Availability

We aim to keep Filnixa available and working, but the site is provided as is. It may be unavailable, interrupted or changed at any time, and we may withdraw it without notice. Because processing happens in your browser, results can also depend on your device and browser.

06Intellectual property

The Filnixa name, wordmark, design, text and code belong to the operator of this site. You may use the tool for its intended purpose, but you may not copy the site's design or code to build a competing service.

07Third-party services

Filnixa is delivered through third-party hosting and infrastructure providers. Their own terms and privacy practices apply to their part of the service. We are not responsible for third-party websites you use Filnixa to prepare files for.

08Disclaimers

Filnixa is provided without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We do not warrant that the site will be error-free, uninterrupted or suitable for your particular need.

09Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for lost data, lost profits or failed uploads arising from your use of Filnixa.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. If consumer protection law in your country gives you rights that cannot be waived, those rights are unaffected.

10Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they were last changed. If you keep using Filnixa after a change, you accept the updated terms.

11Ending your use

You can stop using Filnixa at any time: just close the page. We may block access to the site for anyone who breaks these terms.

12Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes will be heard by the courts of England and Wales, unless the law of your country gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.
